Giant Tetris

Giant Tetris game build. Inspired by the trend of taking nostalgic kids games (Connect Four, Jenga) and making them giant sized. This game board was designed based on the game Tetris Link by Techno Source, but tries to incorporate more from the original Tetris computer game. The original Tetris board has 10 columns and 20 rows with 2 rows hidden at the top of the screen. This Tetris board is the same size and has an open top to allow for pieces to stick up into those 2 invisible rows,which can be considered the “game board.” The open face allows players to plug in Tetriminos, similar to hitting the over arrow key at just the right moment in the original computer version.
